Overview
Many students but also many working people are there. It was convenient because I could use tozai line from waseda station and fukutoshin line from nishi waseda station. Between both station is quiet. Around waseda station is more busy and some restaurants and shops are there. Personally fukutoshin line is more useful as you can go to shinjuku, shibuya and ikebukuro directly. There are many schools around where I lived, not only waseda university.

Describe your favorite shops, restaurants, parks etc. in this area
There was a cheap Teishoku restaurant but forgot the name. I am sure there are many cheap Teishoku restaurants in this area as there are many students. Toyama park is nice park.
What I don’t like this area
I felt it is the area for young people. Sometimes I could hear noise from young people at night time.
Other things I would like to mention
Not perfect area but still nice area in general. Maybe good for investment for student rent.
